Q4 Update: Don't forget that Q4 (Quarter 4) contains the biggest months for ecommerce! You can learn more in the article below:
How To Prepare Your Dropshipping Store for Q4? (2025 Guide)
How do you choose a dropshipping supplier in Canada?
Doing the research to find a dropshipping supplier in Canada can feel challenging, but don't worry; we have some simple steps to help you find the perfect one for your store.
First up, consider what you're selling.
Does your store focus on a specific niche? If so, look for suppliers specializing in that area. You might just find some exciting products that align perfectly with your store.
Next, decide on a budget for your supplier. Knowing how much you're willing to spend helps narrow down your options even further.
Then, think about the ecommerce platform you're using, like Shopify or WooCommerce. Some suppliers offer easy integration with these platforms, which can be a huge time-saver when adding products and managing orders.
Also, think about any special features you need. For example, if round-the-clock customer support is important to you, make that a priority in your search.
Let's take an example.
Say you're interested in dropshipping beauty items, your budget is capped at $40 per month, you're using Shopify, and 24/7 customer support is a must.
With these criteria, a supplier like Blanka could be the ideal fit for you.
Apply these filters to your list, and see who stands out!
The 11 best dropshipping suppliers in Canada
When it comes to choosing the best dropshipping suppliers, we don't do it randomly.
We want you to choose the best supplier, so we've developed a ranking system. This helps us review each supplier fairly and consistently.
Our ranking system starts with a perfect score of 5.0 out of 5.0.
We then assess each supplier based on seven factors, each positively or negatively affecting the score:
- Product prices. Are they similar to AliExpress or higher?
- Product quality. Where are the products made? Are they high quality?
- Product catalog size. A larger catalog offers more options, which is always a plus.
- Delivery time. Faster delivery can lead to happier customers.
- Features. Additional services like automated fulfillment, live chat support, integration capabilities, and private labeling can make a supplier stand out.
- Pricing. We consider how affordable the supplier's monthly fees are.
- User reviews. We check Trustpilot reviews to see if customers are happy.
We do this to make sure you find suppliers who offer great value and service, not just the big names.

Is dropshipping good in Canada?
If you would like to start a dropshipping business, it can be incredibly helpful to think about your target country beforehand.
It's common to see that the best countries to target as a dropshipper have:
- Great logistics
- A high GDP per capita
- A large population
- A high social media penetration
In other words, you will have:
- Access to fast shipping methods
- Potential customers with a high disposable income
- Many potential customers, which allows you to scale the business
- A way to easily reach them with an online marketing method like Facebook Ads
Picking a country with these characteristics can make running your dropshipping business much more manageable.
And let me tell you, Canada is such a country. In our ranking of the best dropshipping countries to target, it is placed as the 4th best country to target in the world!
But, if you don't believe me, let's take a look at the four characteristics I mentioned above to see if Canada is a good country to target.
Or take a look at our infographic below:
Does Canada offer you access to fast shipping methods?
In short, yes. Canada is ranked as 7th best in the world in the logistics performance index.
This means you will experience efficient custom clearance processes, a great transport-related infrastructure, and competitively priced shipments.
What's more, if you decide to work with one of the Canadian dropshipping suppliers you will find in this list, then you may even be able to compete on delivery times with a company like Amazon!
This is because your supplier and customer are located in the same country, making the shipping process much faster.
Do consumers in Canada have a high disposable income?
Canada has a GDP per capita $53.3k.
In other words, each capita earns a bit more than people from the United Kingdom but less than people from the United States.
Besides that, Canadians spend a relatively high amount on online purchases.
In the ranking of countries that spend the most on ecommerce per capita, Canada comes in at rank number 7 with an ecommerce spend per capita of $1,746.
This is an excellent indicator that there is a lot of potential in this market!
Are there many potential customers in Canada?
Canada has a population of around 38.9 million people.
The great thing is that of those people, 29 million are digital buyers and, therefore, potential customers for your dropshipping business!
From these figures, I think it can be concluded that you shouldn't have to worry about quickly hitting the "ceiling" when scaling your online business in Canada!
Can you reach customers in Canada with online marketing?
Reaching potential customers with digital advertising in Canada shouldn't be your biggest hurdle.
Each consumer spends an average of around 5.5 hours(!) with digital media in Canada!
What are the most popular payment gateways in Canada?
As an online store in Canada, you should offer your customers the ability to pay with credit cards.
Canada is a heavy credit card market, and payment methods like Visa, Mastercard, and American Express are used in around 64% of transactions.
PayPal and Amazon Pay are also popular and used in around 42% of payments.
One popular payment method that is specific to Canada is an online banking system called "Interac." Basically, you should offer it as a payment option on your store to let customers check out safely and securely from within their own banking environment.
By offering these three payment methods, most online shoppers can comfortably check out on your online store!

Information is not correct. At least Spocket does NOT have a warehouse in Canada. They only provide a software solution to connect your store with their suppliers. But they do not stock or ship anything. Therefore, they shouldn’t be in this list.
Hi Volker,
Thank you for your comment! That’s a great point indeed; we also tried to mention companies that help you connect to dropshipping suppliers (examples of that are: Spocket, SaleHoo, and Syncee).
As we mentioned in the article:
“Spocket is a platform that collects dropshipping suppliers and acts as a connection between your store and the supplier.”
I hope that makes it more clear, and good luck with everything!

Just wanted to say this is an amazing article, but I would love to see it updated for 2022 (not sure if there is one).
I was just on Syncee’s website, and they no longer appear to be offering automated ordering on the free plan. It would have been nice to test it out, but they seemed to have changed their pricing model since this article.
Wholesale2B has very few suppliers willing to ship to Canada at the moment, unless of course you are looking to sell sex toys, lingerie or perfume.
KImmyshop sells only branded items, this isn’t necessarily a bad thing, but if you want to sell them on your site, then you NEED to reach out to the brand holder and get their approval first. This means a lot of leg work, it is extremely slow, and can be quite frustrating to track the right people down for approval (I am in this position right now for a few items I wish to sell on my Amazon store. I have made connections with the manufactures who make items for Logitech, Asus, Razer, etc – but do not wish to step on toes or sell things without the brands approval. Last thing I want is my store shutdown or a lawsuit).
Hi Carlo,
Thank you so much for your great comment and for pointing that out! I will make sure that article gets updated soon 😊
Good luck with everything!

Hello,
This was a great article but i still can’t find the right Canadian drop shipper. I want to sell wood and metal signs with motivational phrases along with other home decor. Do you have any other suggestions?
Thanks, Arlene
Hi Arlene,
Thanks for your question! Did you manage to look through Spocket’s, Syncee’s, and AppScenic’s product catalog? They usually have a wide variety of product available. Otherwise, we unfortunately don’t have any other suggestions for exactly the product you’re looking for.
Good luck with your search!
