India's ecommerce market is growing rapidly, but relying on overseas suppliers can make an already difficult operation even harder.
With more than 1.4 billion people and an ecommerce market projected to reach $325 billion by 2030, India is too large to treat as an afterthought in 2026.
The practical advantage of a local supplier is not just faster shipping. Domestic fulfillment also avoids import delays and makes Cash on Delivery easier to manage.

We researched and reviewed the top-rated Indian dropshipping suppliers, so you can skip guesswork and choose the right partner faster.
Some handle domestic fulfillment or print on demand. Others focus on supplier research or direct manufacturer sourcing.
You'll see where each option fits and what it costs. We'll also tell you when it is the wrong choice.
How we picked and checked these options
We compared 15 supplier and sourcing options for India and asked one question: Would this option make the store easier to operate, or only give you another catalog to browse?
We checked:
- Product range and available quality evidence
- Product cost and platform fees
- Indian delivery coverage and published fulfillment claims
- Cash on Delivery and remittance handling
- Returns and RTO handling
- Store integrations and the amount of manual work required
- Public reviews and the size of the review sample
The 11 entries earned their place for different reasons. Some can fulfill orders, while others only help you find suppliers. We lowered scores for unclear fees and weak delivery claims. Options that pushed most of the verification work back onto you also lost points. Last checked: August 2026.

How do you choose a dropshipping supplier in India?

The highest rating is not automatically the right choice. Start with the operating model you need.
Before committing, make sure the supplier or platform can:
- Sell the exact products you want to offer.
- Leave enough margin after product and shipping costs. Include COD fees and RTO losses.
- Support Cash on Delivery and explain when collected money is remitted.
- Publish realistic delivery estimates for the pincodes you will target.
- Explain who pays for returns, RTO, and reverse shipping.
- Connect to your store or provide a workable order-feed process.
- Provide the invoices and tax documents your setup requires.
The RTO point deserves extra attention. Cash on Delivery orders in Indian ecommerce see return-to-origin rates of nearly 26%, versus under 2% for prepaid orders (GoKwik).
One failed COD delivery can mean paying for shipping twice. Your stock is also blocked while producing no revenue.
Ask about COD confirmation and remittance timing, then check NDR handling and return charges before trusting a headline product margin.
A direct supplier or fulfillment platform can manage some of that work.
A directory or marketplace only gives you contacts. You still have to verify the warehouse and delivery SLA. Check the return policy and store integration separately.
But who to start with?
Start with vFulfill if you use Shopify and want managed India COD fulfillment. Choose Printrove or Blinkstore for print on demand.
Use SaleHoo or eSources when you are ready to vet suppliers yourself. IndiaMART gives you the broadest direct-sourcing pool, but it also leaves the most work with you.
A specialist can still beat every general catalog when the niche is already decided.
Tell us your niche, target market, budget, and what you care about most, and it will highlight a few suppliers from the Do Dropshipping directory that are worth checking first:
The 11 best dropshipping suppliers and sourcing platforms for India
We use our supplier ranking system as the starting point. Every option begins at 5.0, then gains or loses points based on seven factors:
- Product cost and margin potential. Cheap products do not help when shipping and failed COD orders erase the margin.
- Quality evidence. We look for sample options and material details. Defect policies and credible customer feedback matter too. Country of manufacture is not a quality score.
- Catalog fit. A focused catalog can be more useful than a huge catalog full of products you would never sell.
- Fulfillment transparency. Clear dispatch times and delivery coverage score well. So do usable return rules.
- Useful features. Store integrations and order automation matter. COD support and private labeling can also separate one option from another.
- Cost of entry. We compare setup fees and subscriptions. Usage charges and minimum commitments also affect the score. Not every option charges monthly.
- Public customer feedback. We check Trustpilot and ecommerce app stores. We also use mobile app stores and other independent sources where available.
Directories and marketplaces are judged on the sourcing experience they provide. Their rating does not guarantee the quality of every seller listed inside them.
1. vFulfill
Best for: Shopify store owners who want product sourcing, warehousing, and Indian COD remittance handled inside one platform.
Not for: Stores on WooCommerce or a custom platform, or sellers whose orders are not mainly Indian cash on delivery.

| Our vFulfill rating | 4.4 out of 5.0 |
| Type | Managed fulfillment platform |
| Niche | General |
| Product prices | Average |
| Product quality | Varies by sourced product |
| Catalog size | Large |
| Delivery time | Express shipping offered; no single public door-to-door SLA |
| Main features | - Product sourcing and research - Managed fulfillment - COD collection and remittance |
| Pricing | Free-to-install tier; paid plans at Free install; paid from $79/month + usage fees, plus usage fees |
| User reviews | 4.6 out of 5.0 on Shopify (10 reviews, August 2026) |
vFulfill is the strongest all-round option here for Shopify sellers focused on Indian Cash on Delivery orders.
It combines product sourcing with warehousing and courier selection. COD remittance also sits in the same platform.
That is a meaningful difference from a directory that only hands you a supplier email address:

COD is still important in India, but it creates extra failure points. Customers can refuse an order, become unreachable, or change their mind while the parcel is moving.
vFulfill addresses that operational problem rather than pretending every placed order becomes revenue.
The company also publishes a COD profit calculator and claims delivery rates of up to 85% when it manages fulfillment.
Pros
- Managed fulfillment. Product sourcing and fulfillment sit in one system. Courier workflows and COD remittance are handled there too.
- Product data for testing. Paid plans provide access to curated products and performance information instead of leaving research entirely to you.
- Built around Indian COD. NDR handling and remittance are core parts of the offer, not an afterthought.
Cons
- Shopify only. This is not the right platform for a WooCommerce or custom-built store.
- Costs stack up. Subscription fees sit on top of convenience or usage charges, so calculate the delivered-order cost before joining.
- No universal delivery promise. vFulfill advertises express shipping. The final time still depends on the product and warehouse. The courier and destination matter too.
How do you connect vFulfill to your store?
Sign up through vFulfill, then connect your Shopify store through the vFulfill app.

Pricing
vFulfill has a free-to-install tier. Its paid plans cost $79, $149, or $249 per month. They are called Mover, Shaker, and Earthquaker.
Each paid plan currently includes a seven-day trial for $1. Mover also lists a 5% convenience fee per delivered order, while Shaker lists 4%. Factor those charges into the delivered-order margin before choosing a tier.
2. Printrove
Best for: Sellers who already have their own designs and want apparel or phone cases printed and shipped from India under their brand.
Not for: Sellers who want a ready general-product catalog or need a supplier that researches winning products for them.

| Our Printrove rating | 4.4 out of 5.0 |
| Type | Print on demand supplier |
| Niche | Custom products |
| Product prices | Average |
| Product quality | Average; order samples before launch |
| Catalog size | Medium |
| Delivery time | Three to four business days for production, plus two to five days in transit |
| Main features | - White-label fulfillment - COD support - Shopify app |
| Pricing | Free to install; ₹5,000 initial recharge returned as order credits |
| User reviews | Positive reviews on Shopify, but only a handful |
Printrove is the best fit here when the product itself needs your design.
You can sell apparel and phone cases without holding printed inventory. The catalog also includes pop grips, mouse pads, and other custom items.
The workflow is straightforward: create the design, publish the product, and send each paid order to Printrove for production and white-label shipping.

Pros
- Fast production by POD standards. Printrove says most orders are printed and packed within three to four business days. Transit usually adds another two to five days.
- Brand-building options. Products can be fulfilled without Printrove branding, which keeps the customer experience tied to your store.
- Shopify automation. The app can send orders to Printrove and reduce manual fulfillment work.
Cons
- Replacements have conditions. Printrove covers verified manufacturing defects reported with the required evidence. A customer changing their mind about size or color is not automatically covered.
- Limited independent evidence. The Shopify score is strong, but the review sample is too small to treat it as conclusive.
- Samples are still essential. Print quality and garment feel can vary by product, so test the exact combinations you plan to advertise.
How do you connect Printrove to your store?
Use Printrove's web app or connect Shopify through the Printrove app.

Pricing
Printrove is free to install, and you pay the product and fulfillment cost when orders arrive.
Its Shopify listing requires a ₹5,000 initial recharge to activate the account. That amount is returned as credits for future orders, so it is working balance rather than a separate subscription fee.
3. Syncee
Best for: Sellers who want to compare several suppliers at once and automate product imports, inventory updates, and order forwarding.
Not for: Sellers who want one domestic Indian supplier with a single clear fulfillment policy and guaranteed Indian stock.

| Our Syncee rating | 4.2 out of 5.0 |
| Type | Supplier marketplace and automation platform |
| Niche | General |
| Product prices | Varies by supplier |
| Product quality | Varies by supplier |
| Catalog size | Large |
| Delivery time | Varies by supplier and warehouse |
| Main features | - Supplier and warehouse filters - Product and inventory sync - Automated order forwarding |
| Pricing | Free browsing; paid plans from $39.99 per month |
| User reviews | 4.3 out of 5.0 on Trustpilot (600+ reviews, August 2026) |
Syncee is not an Indian supplier. It is a marketplace where retailers connect with independent brands and suppliers, including suppliers that stock or ship from India.
Syncee can automate product imports and inventory updates, but it can also forward orders. The supplier still controls quality and pricing, plus dispatch and returns.

Pros
- Useful location filters. You can filter by supplier or warehouse location before importing products.
- Direct supplier communication. Ask about samples, delivery coverage, and returns inside the platform before committing.
- Strong automation. Syncee can sync product data and inventory, then forward orders to compatible suppliers.
Cons
- India-only results require discipline. A supplier being visible to Indian merchants does not mean its stock is held in India.
- Supplier performance varies. Syncee provides the software layer, not one platform-wide delivery or quality guarantee.
- The free plan is for research. You need a paid plan to import and manage a useful catalog.
How do you connect Syncee to your store?
Syncee supports Shopify and WooCommerce. It also connects with Ecwid and several other ecommerce platforms. Check the current integration list before choosing a plan.

Pricing
Syncee's pricing starts with a free browsing plan. The current monthly tiers include Basic at $39.99, Pro at $59.99, and Business at $99.99.

Monthly paid plans currently include a three-day free trial. Annual plans are cheaper than paying month to month, but check the live pricing page before choosing a billing cycle.

4. eSources
Best for: Sellers who are ready to vet Indian suppliers themselves and mainly need verified manufacturer and wholesaler contact details.
Not for: Sellers who want an app that imports products and fulfills orders, because eSources only hands over supplier contacts.

| Our eSources rating | 4.0 out of 5.0 |
| Type | Supplier directory |
| Niche | General |
| Product prices | Varies by listed supplier |
| Product quality | Varies by listed supplier |
| Catalog size | Large directory; small India-specific dropshipping pool |
| Delivery time | Varies by listed supplier |
| Main features | - Indian wholesale and dropshipping contacts - Business verification checks |
| Pricing | Free basic access; premium from £20 |
| User reviews | 5.0 out of 5.0 on Trustpilot (200+ reviews, August 2026) |
eSources is a long-running supplier directory. It does not store products, fulfill orders, or give every supplier one shared delivery policy.
Its value is access to contact details. During our check, the India section showed 11 dropshipping suppliers. That is useful, but it is not a deep enough pool to join without first viewing the free results.

Pros
- Focused supplier research. It can surface manufacturers and wholesalers that are harder to find through a normal Google search.
- Verification checks. eSources says it checks businesses before inclusion and tries to exclude resellers posing as original suppliers.
- Low-cost short test. A one-month premium plan is available, so you do not need to commit for a year.
Cons
- Dated interface. The directory works, but the browsing experience feels old.
- No built-in automation. Product feeds and inventory sync depend on the supplier you choose. The same applies to orders and returns.
- Free access is restricted. Many visible results are wholesalers or hide the contact details needed to evaluate them.
How do you connect eSources to your store?
You do not connect eSources itself. Ask whether the chosen supplier supports an app or API. A product feed or daily CSV order file may be the fallback.
Pricing
The free account only opens part of the database. Premium buyer access costs £20 for one month or £50 for six months, which works out to about £8.33 per month.
5. Blinkstore
Best for: Beginners who want an India-based print on demand storefront to test designs before paying for Shopify.
Not for: Merchants with an established Shopify setup who need deeper automation or a larger global product catalog.

| Our Blinkstore rating | 3.8 out of 5.0 |
| Type | Print on demand platform |
| Niche | Custom products |
| Product prices | Average |
| Product quality | Average; sample first |
| Catalog size | 50+ products |
| Delivery time | 48-hour dispatch; six to eight days across India |
| Main features | - Free built-in storefront - No minimum orders - Shopify integration and mobile app |
| Pricing | Free; pay per fulfilled order |
| User reviews | Mixed reviews on Google Play (August 2026) |
Blinkstore combines print on demand fulfillment with a free storefront builder. That makes it attractive when you want to test designs without paying for Shopify on day one.
Blinkstore advertises more than 50 customizable products, 48-hour dispatch, and delivery within six to eight days across India.
Pros
- Low-risk start. There is no subscription and no minimum order.
- Built-in storefront. You can publish products without paying for a separate ecommerce platform.
- Domestic POD workflow. Production and shipping are handled in India, which is more practical than importing one custom item at a time.
Cons
- Smaller catalog. More than 50 products is enough to launch, but it is still narrower than some dedicated POD competitors.
- Mixed app feedback. The public mobile-app reviews suggest some rough edges.
- The storefront is the main attraction. Merchants with an established Shopify setup should compare the depth of its integration against a native POD app.
How do you connect Blinkstore to your store?
You can build a free store through Blinkstore's web app. Blinkstore also offers a Shopify print on demand integration, so compare that route with its own storefront before uploading your catalog.
Pricing
Blinkstore is free to use. You pay the product and fulfillment cost when an order is placed.
6. BaapStore
Best for: Sellers who want a broad Indian catalog with cash on delivery, returns handling, and white-label invoicing included in every plan.
Not for: Sellers who need live inventory sync or a trial run first, since BaapStore ships CSV files and charges a non-refundable annual fee upfront.

| Our BaapStore rating | 3.8 out of 5.0 |
| Type | Direct dropshipping supplier |
| Niche | General |
| Product prices | Low |
| Product quality | Varies by SKU; sample first |
| Catalog size | 7,000+ SKUs (company claim) |
| Delivery time | Varies by product and courier |
| Main features | - Shopify and WooCommerce CSV files - White-label invoices - Shipping, returns, and COD services |
| Pricing | ₹4,999-₹14,999 per year + 18% GST; lifetime plans available |
| User reviews | No strong independent review profile found |
BaapStore is a paid Indian dropshipping supplier with a broad general catalog. Its pricing page claims more than 7,000 SKUs.
Another company page refers to 150,000+ products without explaining the difference, so treat the larger number cautiously.
The service is aimed at resellers who want product files and white-label invoicing.
Shipping management and COD support are included in every plan, and return handling is included too.
Pros
- COD and returns start on the base plan. You do not need the highest tier to access the core fulfillment services.
- Shopify and WooCommerce product files. The Starter plan includes one CSV format. Growth includes both.
- Broad catalog. BaapStore covers fashion and several general-product categories, which gives you room to test different angles.
Cons
- Upfront commitment. The cheapest annual plan costs ₹4,999, and service fees are non-refundable.
- CSV is not live synchronization. Product imports are easier, but inventory and order automation may still require manual work.
- Extra services cost more. Website development and Shopify uploads are custom add-ons, not included store builds.
How do you connect BaapStore to your store?
BaapStore supplies Shopify or WooCommerce CSV files. Website development and marketplace uploads are separate services priced by scope.
Pricing
The annual plans are Starter at ₹4,999 and Growth at ₹9,999. Premium costs ₹14,999. BaapStore adds 18% GST.
Lifetime pricing starts at ₹14,999 for Starter. Growth costs ₹29,999, while Premium costs ₹44,999. Compare the payback period before paying more upfront.
Starter includes the full catalog and one store-file format. Growth adds both Shopify and WooCommerce formats plus fresh product photography. Premium mainly adds video and advertising assets.
7. Snazzyway
Best for: Store owners building a lingerie or women's fashion brand who want a manufacturer-direct catalog rather than a general one.
Not for: Stores outside lingerie and women's fashion, since Snazzyway's catalog is not a general-product fallback.

| Our Snazzyway rating | 3.8 out of 5.0 |
| Type | Niche manufacturer and dropshipping supplier |
| Niche | Women's fashion and lingerie |
| Product prices | Average |
| Product quality | Average; sample exact SKUs |
| Catalog size | Medium |
| Delivery time | Typically three to seven days after processing (company claim) |
| Main features | - Manufacturer-direct catalog - CSV/XML product feeds - COD and white-label options on eligible plans |
| Pricing | Basic ₹8,999 one-time (2-year license); Plus ₹14,999 one-time |
| User reviews | No reliable independent review profile found |
Snazzyway is the specialist on this list. It focuses on women's fashion and lingerie, so the catalog is narrower but more coherent than a general marketplace.
That can be an advantage.
A focused store benefits more from relevant sizing and product depth than from thousands of unrelated products. It also makes sample testing easier to plan.
Pros
- Manufacturer-direct positioning. Snazzyway says it manufactures its products rather than reselling another supplier's catalog.
- Low-cost entry plan. The Basic account costs ₹8,999 and includes access to 1,000 products, with a 2-year license.
- Useful product feeds. Basic includes CSV and XML data. Higher plans support more store and marketplace formats.
Cons
- Plan information is fragmented. Features are spread across several product pages, so compare the exact tier before paying.
- Return risk needs special attention. Lingerie has stricter hygiene and sizing issues. Get the refused-delivery and replacement rules in writing.
- No strong public review trail. Order samples and test support before committing to a larger white-label plan.
How do you connect Snazzyway to your store?
The Basic account includes CSV and XML product data. Snazzyway says the Plus tier supports Shopify and WooCommerce.
It also supplies formats for Wix and Amazon. A WooCommerce plugin is advertised separately.
Pricing
The current Basic Dropship Account costs ₹8,999 as a one-time payment, with a 2-year license. It includes 1,000 products and email support.
The Plus account costs ₹14,999 one time. It adds broader platform support and prepaid shipping benefits. COD costs ₹99 per parcel on that plan.
Higher white-label packages are also advertised, but the pricing and included services are spread across separate pages.
8. SaleHoo
Best for: Sellers who want a bigger supplier pool than the India-only directories offer and are willing to verify local stock themselves.
Not for: Sellers who want guaranteed Indian stock or native order automation, since SaleHoo is a global directory rather than a supplier.

| Our SaleHoo rating | 3.6 out of 5.0 |
| Type | Supplier directory |
| Niche | General |
| Product prices | Varies by listed supplier |
| Product quality | Varies by listed supplier |
| Catalog size | 8,000+ supplier records worldwide |
| Delivery time | Varies by supplier and warehouse |
| Main features | - Pre-screened supplier directory - Location and category research - Training and market tools |
| Pricing | $9 per month billed annually, or $299 lifetime |
| User reviews | 4.1 out of 5.0 on Trustpilot (450+ reviews, August 2026) |
SaleHoo is useful when you want a broader supplier search than the India-only options provide. It is still a directory, not the company that will ship your orders.
Use the location filters to find suppliers that claim Indian stock or domestic delivery, then verify the warehouse address and dispatch time.
Confirm the MOQ, return rules, and store integration directly.

Pros
- Large research pool. SaleHoo gives you far more international supplier records than the smaller India directories.
- Supplier screening. SaleHoo says suppliers are checked before inclusion, which is better than starting with an unfiltered web search.
- Support and training. The directory includes educational material for merchants who have not negotiated with suppliers before.
Cons
- Not India-first. Many suppliers ship from other countries, so local stock must be confirmed.
- No shared fulfillment policy. Delivery and returns vary by supplier.
- Membership does not remove due diligence. You still need samples and written terms before launching products.
How do you connect SaleHoo to your store?
The directory itself does not connect to your store. Integration depends on the supplier you select.
Pricing
SaleHoo Directory costs $9 per month when billed annually. Lifetime access costs $299.
Use SaleHoo's current trial offer to inspect the directory before choosing a longer plan.

9. Wholesalebox
Best for: Stores built around Indian women's or ethnic fashion that want wholesale pricing with no membership fee.
Not for: New stores that need real-time inventory sync, since Wholesalebox puts business-history requirements on its feed and API access.

| Our Wholesalebox rating | 3.6 out of 5.0 |
| Type | Fashion wholesaler with dropshipping |
| Niche | Women's fashion |
| Product prices | Low |
| Product quality | Varies by product |
| Catalog size | Medium |
| Delivery time | Not clearly published; courier times vary |
| Main features | - Indian fashion catalog - No membership fee - Manual order option |
| Pricing | Free |
| User reviews | No reliable independent review profile found |
Wholesalebox focuses on Indian women's clothing and apparel. It is more relevant than a general directory when your store is built around ethnic or regional fashion.
The pricing can be attractive, but the workflow is less automated than the top-ranked platforms.
Pros
- Focused fashion catalog. You spend less time filtering through unrelated products.
- No membership fee. You can inspect the catalog without paying for access.
- Wholesale pricing. Product costs can leave room for margin when the shipping and return math works.
Cons
- Manual workflow for new stores. Wholesalebox says its full feed or API access has business-history requirements, so many beginners will place orders manually.
- Strict return conditions. Standard returns are not offered. Replacements are limited, and reverse shipping may fall on you.
- Weak public review evidence. Order samples before trusting product photos or size charts.
How do you connect Wholesalebox to your store?
New sellers should expect to place orders through the Wholesalebox site. Ask about feed or API eligibility once the store has an established sales history.
Pricing
Wholesalebox does not charge a membership fee. You pay for the products and shipping used for each order.
10. SeasonsWay
Best for: Sellers who are comfortable with a CSV workflow and want a broad Indian catalog with cash on delivery and white-label invoicing.
Not for: Sellers who need real-time inventory sync or a native Shopify integration, since SeasonsWay runs on CSV files and its own panel.

| Our SeasonsWay rating | 3.5 out of 5.0 |
| Type | Supplier with a dropship panel |
| Niche | General and fashion |
| Product prices | Average |
| Product quality | Varies by product |
| Catalog size | Large company-claimed catalog |
| Delivery time | Four to seven days across India (company claim) |
| Main features | - Independent dropship panel - Shopify-formatted CSV files - COD and white-label invoices |
| Pricing | From ₹2,500 one-time; public plan pages conflict |
| User reviews | No reliable independent review profile found |
SeasonsWay is an older Indian supplier with an independent dropship panel.
Its FAQ says sellers receive CSV files and image links for bulk uploads. Tracking is then updated inside the panel.
The core offer is usable, but the website is fragmented. Different pages show different plan names and starting prices, so written confirmation matters here more than it does for the higher-ranked options.
Pros
- Broad catalog. SeasonsWay advertises products across several categories and supports domestic or international shipping depending on the plan.
- Shopify-formatted CSV files. You can bulk upload products even though there is no native Shopify integration.
- COD and white-label invoicing. The supplier says eligible orders can use COD and ship in plain packaging with your invoice.
Cons
- Conflicting plan information. One official FAQ lists Silver Plan B at ₹2,500, while other company pages show higher starting prices.
- No native Shopify integration. Product uploads rely on CSV files, and inventory feeds may only be refreshed weekly.
- Dated user experience. Important details are spread across old pages, which makes onboarding harder than it should be.
How do you connect SeasonsWay to your store?
SeasonsWay provides an independent panel and Shopify-formatted CSV files. It does not advertise a native Shopify integration.
Orders and payments are handled through the supplier panel. Shipping and tracking are managed there too.
Pricing
The official FAQ lists a ₹2,500 one-time setup fee for Silver Plan B. Other official pages show Silver plans starting at ₹5,000, so ask SeasonsWay to confirm the current tier and inclusions in writing.
COD is advertised on eligible orders with a ₹99 collection charge. Product and shipping costs are paid separately from the setup fee.
The $100, $150, and $200 packages elsewhere on the site are landing-page design services. They are not the supplier-account price.
11. IndiaMART
Best for: Sellers who want to contact Indian manufacturers directly and negotiate their own prices, terms, and order volumes.
Not for: Sellers who want products imported and orders fulfilled automatically, since every IndiaMART seller sets its own terms.

| Our IndiaMART rating | 3.2 out of 5.0 |
| Type | B2B marketplace |
| Niche | General |
| Product prices | Often low; negotiation required |
| Product quality | Varies by seller |
| Catalog size | Very large |
| Delivery time | Varies by seller; no platform-wide SLA |
| Main features | - Manufacturer and wholesaler search - Buying requirements - Direct supplier contact |
| Pricing | Free for buyers |
| User reviews | Low Trustpilot score; vet every seller independently |
IndiaMART is a large B2B marketplace that connects buyers with manufacturers, wholesalers, and service providers.
It is not built specifically for dropshipping. Some sellers may ship individual orders to your customers, while others only accept bulk orders or expect you to arrange logistics.

Pros
- Huge sourcing pool. You can search many categories and contact manufacturers directly.
- Buying requirements. Post the product and terms you need, then let interested suppliers respond.
- Negotiation room. Direct conversations can produce better prices or custom terms than a fixed catalog.
Cons
- Not dropshipping-first. You must confirm single-order fulfillment and blind shipping with each seller. Check invoices and returns separately.
- Quality varies widely. Marketplace presence is not proof that a supplier is reliable.
- Manual work. Most relationships will need direct messages and samples. Expect negotiated terms and a separate order process too.
How do you connect IndiaMART to your store?
IndiaMART does not provide one dropshipping integration. Build the workflow with the chosen seller after confirming stock updates and order files. Tracking and returns also need a defined process.
Pricing
Buyer accounts are free. Costs begin when you order products or samples. Shipping and supplier-specific services are extra.
Other Indian dropshipping options you will see mentioned
Several names appear on older supplier lists but did not make our ranking:
- Meesho. A major reseller marketplace, but it is built around selling through Meesho's ecosystem rather than supplying your independent store.
- DeoDap. An Indian B2B platform with a dropshipping storefront. It may be worth checking for low-cost general products, although its catalog overlaps with BaapStore and IndiaMART.
- Dropship India. A newer fulfillment platform. We could not find enough clear pricing and delivery detail to score it fairly.
- Qikink. An Indian print on demand supplier worth comparing when Printrove or Blinkstore do not fit your product plans.
- GlowRoad. Do not rely on old recommendations. The Amazon-owned reseller app stopped taking orders in December 2024.
The supplier is only half the decision. The market still has to justify the extra COD and returns complexity.
Why would you dropship to the Indian market?

The size of the opportunity is real:
- India's ecommerce market is projected to reach $325 billion by 2030.
- India had 1.09 billion internet subscribers in March 2026, according to TRAI.
- Social commerce is expected to continue expanding as shopping moves deeper into mobile and creator-led channels.
But market growth does not fix a weak store. Indian ecommerce adds its own operating challenges. COD refusal and RTO are the biggest. Address quality and multilingual support also matter.
The opportunity is strongest when you combine local fulfillment with prepaid incentives. Clear delivery communication matters too. Most importantly, the products must survive the return-cost math.
What payment methods should you offer in India?
UPI processed more than 23 billion transactions in May 2026. Yet industry estimates still put close to half of India's online orders on Cash on Delivery.
The practical answer is not to choose only one. Offer UPI and card payments, then give customers a reason to prepay. A small prepaid discount can be cheaper than absorbing repeated COD failures.
Track conversion and cancellation rates separately for prepaid and COD orders. Do the same for RTO. If a product only looks profitable before COD losses are included, it is not profitable.
Tip: Ask your supplier when COD money is remitted and which charges remain payable after an order is refused. Those details affect cash flow as much as the product margin.
Dropshipping in India FAQs
These are the questions that can materially change how you launch the store.
Can I dropship with AliExpress in India?
The AliExpress app remains affected by India's 2020 app restrictions. Its website has been reachable again at times, but there has been no clear official reversal that makes it a dependable option for India-focused fulfillment. Use a supplier with confirmed domestic service instead.
Is dropshipping legal for businesses in India?
Yes. Dropshipping is a legal fulfillment model in India. Your business still has to follow the applicable tax and consumer-protection rules. Product safety, advertising, and import requirements may also apply. (More info here)
Do I need a GSTIN for dropshipping in India?
Not always. Since October 1, 2023, certain sellers below the registration threshold can supply goods through an ecommerce operator without a GSTIN if they meet the notification conditions. The exemption is limited to intra-state sales from one state and requires PAN plus GST portal enrolment. Interstate sales and other setups may still require registration. Confirm your position with a qualified Indian tax professional. See Notification 34/2023.
Can you dropship from India to other countries?
Yes. Some Indian suppliers offer international shipping or can work with international couriers. Confirm the destination countries, customs paperwork, duties, returns, and true delivery time before advertising worldwide shipping.

My experience with Baapstore:
1. Baapstore’s charges of 17k to 60k is only for one time. There after, only 8000rs per annum.
2. Baapstore is the best since they are the ones providing large number of Indian products at proper wholesale costs, fastest shipping and assume 100% ownership for every product and delivery.
Hi Srinivas,
Thank you for sharing your experience with Baapstore! I’m sure it will help someone 😊
Good luck with everything!
