What is Zendrop?

Zendrop is a dropshipping platform with Shopify and Wix integrations.
Its integration hub also lists TikTok Shop and ClickFunnels.
With years of combined experience in ecommerce, Zendrop's founders knew the common pain points of dropshipping all too well and wanted to provide a better solution.

So, they built a platform, Zendrop, that connects you, the dropshipping store owner, with thousands of products from suppliers in China or the United States.
Zendrop includes tools for order automation.
When enabled, auto-fulfillment processes orders using your saved payment method.

But there's more!
Zendrop also offers thank-you cards for eligible orders and private labeling through its Private Agent Program.
Is Zendrop legit?
One of the common questions about Zendrop is, "Is this legit?"
So, let's clear it up: Zendrop is legitimate.
As a complete beginner who has just started with dropshipping I can confidently say that Zendrop is amazing.

However, it wasn't always this way.
Originally, Zendrop was called Silkroad, and in the first few months after launching in August 2019, they had quite some issues.
However, Silkroad's team has since had the time to fix all problems, and they've rebranded to Zendrop to start on a clean sheet.
Here's what Zendrop's COO said on Reddit:
Zendrop has changed a lot in the way it operates since its inception (originally Silkroad). We've opened our own fulfillment operation in China, and have ironed out a lot of the flaws that we had in the original product when we launched back in August of 2019, hence the re-brand to Zendrop.

The Shopify App Store gives Zendrop a 4.5/5 rating from more than 1,200 reviews.
How does Zendrop work?

If you're curious about what it looks like to start using Zendrop, here's what you can expect!
Step 1: Register on Zendrop and connect to Shopify
First things first, you'll need to create a free account on Zendrop.
It's an easy process that just requires some basic information about you:

Once you're registered, the next step is to link your Zendrop account with your Shopify store.
Start your store on Shopify
Free 3-day trial + $1/month for 3 months
- Grows with you from first test product to full brand
- 8,000+ apps & themes to customize your store
- Beginner-friendly editor with pro features when you're ready
No card to start. Cancel anytime.
This integration is also simple, as you can simply install the Zendrop app on the Shopify app store:

Note: Zendrop's direct integrations include Shopify and Wix, plus TikTok Shop US and ClickFunnels.
With a few clicks, Zendrop will sync with your Shopify store. This setup allows you to manage your store's inventory and orders directly from Zendrop!

Step 2: Select a product
Now, the fun part begins!
Zendrop offers a large number of products you can choose from.
Whether you're in the fashion, home decor, or pet niche, Zendrop has some great products:

So, browse through the product catalog and pick some potentially winning products.
On the product page, you'll find details like pricing, product descriptions, product images, and shipping information:

Once you've found a product you like, you can click on the green 'Add to Import List' button.
Then, you can head to the 'My Products' tab, click the yellow 'Review & Publish' button, edit the product details, and import it to your store:

Step 3: Customer purchases and order fulfillment
Once your store is filled with products, you can start attracting customers.
When a customer places an order, it syncs to your Zendrop dashboard. You can then fulfill it manually or use auto-fulfillment.
Once you enable auto-fulfillment, Zendrop can process orders using your stored payment method.

The pros and cons of Zendrop
Now that you know how it all works, let's look at the pros and cons of using Zendrop!
Pros
Every app has its set of unique benefits, and Zendrop is no exception:
1. US-to-US transit in 3-5 business days, plus processing
With online shopping, shipping times can make or break a business.
For orders shipped to the US, Zendrop gives these typical transit estimates:
- China to US: 10-15 business days
- US to US: 3-5 business days
Processing comes first and usually takes 1-3 business days. During peak periods, it can take up to 5 business days.
Peak-season processing can extend to 5 business days, and transit can also be delayed by demand, customs or carrier performance.
For a closer look at delivery options on AliExpress, see our guide to AliExpress shipping times.
Zendrop's delivery estimates depend on the product's shipping origin and destination.
For help choosing where to sell, see our country-targeting guide.
Faster shipping is a huge plus for your customers, who increasingly expect quicker deliveries. It can lead to higher customer satisfaction and repeat business.
It's also a competitive edge, setting your store apart from others that might take longer to deliver.
2. Automated order fulfillment and tracking
Automation is becoming increasingly popular in ecommerce, and Zendrop has embraced this fully.

Orders sync to Zendrop automatically, but fulfillment requires payment of the product and shipping costs. You can trigger it manually or enable auto-fulfillment.
This automation extends to order tracking as well.
Customers and store owners are kept up to date with automatic updates on the status of the shipment.
By automating these processes, Zendrop allows you to focus more on growing your business, marketing your products, and interacting with your customers!
3. 24/7 Customer support
Zendrop advertises 24/7 customer support.
During the original review, we tested Zendrop's support chat.
The chatbot answered the first questions we tried, so we used a question it couldn't answer to reach a human agent.

In that test, a human agent replied within two minutes.
4. Products that ship from the US
Zendrop lists products fulfilled from China and products from third-party US suppliers.

Use Zendrop's 'Ships from' filter and check the supplier details before adding a product to your store.
US-supplier orders sent to US customers typically take 3-5 business days in transit, after 1-3 business days of processing. Processing can take up to 5 business days during peak periods.
5. Branding options
Branding depends on the product and fulfillment route.
Paid accounts can add custom thank-you cards to eligible Zendrop Fulfillment orders. Enable branding before the orders are fulfilled.

Custom packaging and private labeling require Private Agent access, minimum order quantities and upfront payment.
US-supplier orders may use supplier-branded packaging. Confirm the packaging and branding options for the exact product.
Amazon-supplier orders do not support custom thank-you cards or custom packaging.
6. Refunds for eligible order problems
Zendrop's refund policy covers eligible order problems caused by Zendrop, including damaged or missing items and delivery failures.
You handle customer refunds directly. Zendrop reviews supplier-side claims under its own policy.
- Damaged products: report the damage within 30 days of delivery with photo or video evidence.
- Wrong or missing items: submit photo or video evidence showing the product, packaging and shipping label.
- Delayed orders: the listed thresholds are 45 days after shipping for US orders and 60 days internationally. Brazil has separate terms.
- Delivered tracking: a non-delivery certificate from the carrier is required if the customer says the package never arrived.
Refunds and replacements also have a 90-day payment eligibility window.
For Brazil, the published 110-day delay threshold conflicts with that 90-day window. Confirm Brazil eligibility with Zendrop before promising a refund on that basis.
Zendrop's main refund policy says sample orders are replacement-only for the standard issues above.
Zendrop doesn't accept physical returns. If a return address is needed, you'll need to provide your own.

When comparing a dropshipping supplier, look at its refund criteria as well as its shipping costs.
7. Product sourcing service
If you need a product outside the catalog, you can submit a sourcing request.
Zendrop's sourcing guide lists these monthly limits:
- Standard Pro: five requests per month.
- Plus and usage-based plans: 20 requests per month.
Zendrop's Free-plan guides disagree: the sourcing guide lists zero requests per month and its product quote guide lists one.
Check the allowance shown in your account before relying on a Free sourcing request.
Zendrop sources generic, unbranded products. A reference link helps its team find a match.
It doesn't buy and reship directly from the linked marketplace. Some sizes or variants may be unavailable.

8. Subscription box and bundle tools
Zendrop advertises tools for bundles and subscription boxes.
This could be a fun way to offer your customers something new every month, like a surprise box of goodies.
Bonus: Create your Shopify store with AI
Zendrop also made Storebuild.ai.
It's a platform that can create an entire Shopify store using AI:

You can choose a niche, products, and colors, and Storebuild.ai will have a Shopify store ready for you within five minutes.

As for the products, Storebuild.ai is created by Zendrop, so that's also where the products are sourced from:

Once your store is built, you have full freedom to customize it to your liking. This includes adding products, changing the design, and integrating other apps.
Regarding pricing, Storebuild.ai is completely free to use. You just need to cover the costs of running a Shopify store.
Storebuild.ai then gets an affiliate commission from Shopify, which is how they keep the platform 100% free.

Cons
While Zendrop offers many benefits, no platform is without its drawbacks. So, let's explore some aspects where it might fall a bit short:
1. Paid access is needed after the Flex trial
Zendrop has different billing models for new Shopify/Wix signups and existing Standard accounts. After the Flex trial, product imports and order processing require a paid tier.
This means that if you're using the free version, you don't have access to the full range of features that make Zendrop stand out.
The current Flex free option lets you browse the catalog, but does not let you import products or process orders. New Shopify/Wix paid tiers start at $29/month for 1-20 linked products.
For new Shopify or Wix users, paid Flex tiers start at $29/month.
Your peak linked-product count and any minimum tier commitment determine whether you pay $29, $49 or $79/month.
Product and shipping costs are additional, so include them in your margin calculation.
2. Relatively high product prices
Another factor to consider is the pricing of the products on Zendrop.
Users have noted that the prices can be higher compared to other dropshipping platforms or online marketplaces:
Used Zendrop for a bit. Their prices in my opinion are just way too high to be sustainable. I actually messaged them once because a price they had on a product was significantly higher than competitors. They responded by "taking a look at it" and actually increased the price.
Source: Reddit
And here's another one:
I liked Zendrop, so I bought their services for a month, very impulsively. However, I find their products to be extremely expensive, some even more expensive than similar items that I can find at the local mall.
Source: Reddit
In the original review, the Zendrop example totaled $94.38: $40.08 for the product and $54.30 for shipping.

An AliExpress screenshot showed a similar-looking launcher at $59.55 with free US shipping.

Compare the product and shipping cost for the exact item you plan to sell, because higher costs can narrow your margin.
On the other hand, you can also view it from the perspective of this Zendrop user:
Honestly, we thought Zendrop products were too expensive and delivery time was relatively long, BUT their customer service is really great and the suppliers are reliable, so it's really worth it.
Happy Pearents (Zendrop user)
3. Custom packaging and private labeling require Private Agent access
Private labeling and custom packaging are offered through the Private Agent Program for high-volume sellers.
You'll need to meet minimum order quantities and pay upfront.
Budget for those upfront costs in your dropshipping business.
4. One-click bulk import is limited to Trending Collections
Zendrop's Trending Collections feature lets you import an entire curated collection with one click.
For other catalog products, Zendrop says you still add products to the import list one at a time. You can then publish them to your store in batches.
An earlier user review described the product-by-product workflow:
Zendrop has a comfortable range of products, but the interface is terrible. Who designs an interface where you cannot bulk import to your store. Selecting each product individually and publishing is horrendous.
Geek Barn (Zendrop user)
Trending Collections provide a one-click route for curated groups. Other products need to be added individually before batch publishing.
Zendrop limits imports to 100 products per hour.
Zendrop pricing plans
When choosing a dropshipping platform, pricing is always a crucial factor.
Here's an overview of Zendrop's current pricing structure:
If you sign up through Shopify or Wix, Zendrop's Flex pricing depends on how many products you link:
- $29/month for 1-20 linked products
- $49/month for 21-100 linked products
- $79/month for 101+ linked products
Your bill uses the highest number of products linked during the billing cycle. Unlinking them later won't lower that cycle's charge.
If you've committed to a minimum tier, that becomes the lowest tier you'll pay for.
The $0 option lets you browse the catalog, but you can't import products or process orders.
If you already have a Standard account, your pricing may still be:
- Pro: $49/month or $399/year
- Plus: $79/month or $549/year
Product and shipping costs are additional.
Trial length depends on the plan and promotion.
Before your Flex trial ends, check:
- Your trial end date
- How many products you have linked
- Any minimum tier commitment
To cancel Flex entirely, uninstall the app from Shopify or Wix.
Charges already incurred or invoices already generated may still be processed.

The selected negative reviews below discuss product and shipping costs:
Every single product is so expensive you can't make more than 20 something dollars profit and if you run ads... good luck with your store... you see a product 5-10 dollars and when you go on the page of the product is like 20-30-15 dollars some crazy number for shipping... I prefer to deal with AliExpress.
