If you've ever browsed Temu, you've probably thought, "Wow, there are so many great products here at super low prices. This could be a great dropshipping supplier!"

And that's how you ended up here.

It's a totally legitimate thought, but it’s not that simple.

Can you dropship from Temu with Shopify?

The short answer is yes—you can dropship from Temu with Shopify.

But there’s one catch (or, actually, multiple).

Unlike platforms like AliExpress or CJdropshipping, Temu doesn’t officially support dropshipping (source):

Does Temu support dropshipping?

This means there are no built-in tools, apps, or integrations designed to make the process efficient.

While dropshipping from Temu is technically possible, there are several challenges you should be aware of:

  • Branding issues. Every order from Temu is shipped in their signature orange packaging with the Temu logo. This makes it obvious to your customers that the product is coming from Temu, which will hurt your brand’s credibility:

  • Customer support. Temu’s customer support isn’t known for being the most reliable, especially if you’re using the platform in a way that goes against their terms of service (such as dropshipping). This means resolving issues like order delays or refunds can be frustrating and time-consuming.
  • Risk of account ban. In extreme cases, Temu might flag or even ban your account if they detect behavior that violates their policies.

So, while Shopify dropshipping with Temu is possible (we’ll show you how to import Temu products to Shopify in a bit), it has significant downsides.

Why dropshipping from Temu?

With all the challenges, you might wonder why so many people are interested in using Temu for dropshipping.

The answer is that Temu offers a lot of advantages that are hard to ignore, especially if you’re a beginner dropshipper.

One of the biggest draws of Temu is its low prices.

Compared to other suppliers like AliExpress, Temu often has products at a fraction of the cost:

Temu lightning deals

This means you can offer competitive pricing in your store while still keeping solid profit margins.

Another reason is that Temu often shows popular, high-demand products.

By browsing the platform, you can often spot trends early and add these items to your store before they become too competitive in the market.

Lastly, they often use really high-quality images that could work very well in your dropshipping store:

How do you import products from Temu to Shopify?

One of the first challenges you will face when dropshipping with Temu is importing products into your Shopify store.

Since Temu doesn’t have an official integration with Shopify, you will need to look for alternatives.

The simplest way to import products from Temu to Shopify is to do it manually.

While it takes some extra effort, this method works if you’re starting out or just want to test a few products.

Here’s what you need to do:

  1. Find a product on Temu. Browse Temu’s website or app to choose a product you want to sell in your Shopify store.
  2. Download images and copy the product details. Save the product images to your computer and copy the product description, title, and specifications.
  3. Add the product to Shopify. Go to your Shopify admin dashboard, click "Products," and then click "Add Product." Upload the images and write your product description according to the product details:

  1. Set the price. When setting the price, remember to factor in shipping costs and your desired profit margin.

This method works well for a small number of products but can become time-consuming if you want to scale.

That's why there are Shopify apps that make importing products easier and faster.

We'll quickly go over the three main options below:

1. Dropshipman

Dropshipman homepage

Dropshipman is a popular platform that provides an all-in-one service for dropshippers, including dropshipping tools, dropshipping agent services, fulfillment, and branding:

  • 24/7 customer support. Dropshipman's customer service replies very quickly and is available 24/7.

Pricing

Dropshipman's pricing plans range from $0 to $199 per month:

2. Cartifind

Cartifind Shopify app

Cartifind is an app that was originally targeted at AliExpress dropshipping but has now turned its focus to Temu.

Like many other dropshipping apps, it allows you to import products from popular dropshipping suppliers like AliExpress, Shein, and Temu to your store.

However, Cartifind goes a step further.

They have what they call a 'VIP Shipping service' that includes a fulfillment center that removes the Temu packaging and ships the product to your customer in blank packages, as well as some other extras.

Pros

  • More features besides importing. For example, they have fulfillment center services, they can remove the product's price tag, and they have a ChatGPT integration to help you write titles and descriptions.
  • Attractive pricing. Cartifind has just one pricing plan of $9.95 per month, which isn't a lot by today's standards.

Cons

  • There isn't much info available about the 'VIP Shipping service.' The only mention of it is in their Shopify app description: "Fulfill any orders with VIP shipping. (No Temu Package)." On their website, we could only find a FAQ about Temu fulfillment:

3. Zopi

Zopi Shopify app

Zopi is an alternative to Cartifind or Dropshipman.

Its main feature is to help you import products from platforms like AliExpress or Temu to Shopify.

What makes Zopi different is that they provide filters like 'Trendy products,' 'Fastest delivery', or 'Best-selling' that could help you find winning products:

Zopi product importer

Pros

  • Omni-dropshipping. One of Zopi's USPs is what they call 'Omni-dropshipping.' This basically means that you can use multiple dropshipping suppliers at the same time and have them managed in one central dashboard.
  • More than just a product importer. Zopi also has a few features that help you find winning products, like a daily list of winning products, a TikTok and Facebook ad spy tool, and a store analysis tool.
  • 'Built for Shopify' badge. This means the Zopi app meets Shopify's highest quality standards for speed, ease of use, and merchant value.

Cons

  • Temu dropshipping is not practical for multiple countries. Zopi's Help Center states that Temu allows only one Ship-to location per sign-in. This would mean that you would need multiple accounts when targeting multiple countries:

Pricing

Zopi's pricing plans range from $9.90 to $49.90 per month. It mainly depends on how many products you import and how many orders you process:

What about importing reviews from Temu to Shopify?

When you’re dropshipping products from Temu to Shopify, you might also wonder if you can also bring over the reviews from Temu.

You may know that this is really easy with a supplier like AliExpress.

After all, there are tons of Shopify apps that do exactly this.

But for Temu, it's not the same story.

We've done the research and found only one app with the feature to import reviews from Temu to Shopify.

It's named WiseReviews:

WiseReviews supports importing reviews from lots of different platforms, including Shopee, AliExpress, Shein, Etsy, Amazon, and Temu.

But it's not just a simple review importer.

It's actually a full-fledged review app that includes customizable widgets, a referral system, and review request emails:

2 Workarounds for using Temu for Shopify dropshipping

If the challenges of dropshipping directly from Temu are making you rethink your strategy, don’t worry.

There are smarter ways to use Temu for your Shopify store.

Instead of relying on Temu as a traditional dropshipping supplier, you can use it creatively in other ways to overcome its limitations.

Here are two workarounds that can help you make the most out of Temu without running into its common dropshipping problems.

Method 1: Use a dropshipping agent or a 3PL as a middleman

One way to use Temu for Shopify dropshipping is by working with a dropshipping agent or a Chinese fulfillment center (3PL).

Here’s how it works:

  1. Order products (in bulk) from Temu. Instead of shipping individual orders directly to customers, you place (bulk) orders for the products you want to sell and have them sent to a fulfillment center in China. This lets you take advantage of Temu’s low prices without worrying about their branded packaging.
  2. Repackage with your branding. Once the products reach the fulfillment center, the provider can repackage them with your custom packaging. This adds the benefit of having branded packaging and eliminates the issue of Temu’s orange packaging.
  3. Fulfill orders. When a customer places an order in your Shopify store, the fulfillment center ships the product directly to them. Many Chinese 3PL fulfillment centers also offer faster and more reliable shipping options compared to Temu’s standard delivery.

To summarize, the main advantages of this method are that you'll have access to Temu's low prices, branded packaging, and faster shipping than Temu can offer.

On the other side, ordering in bulk requires some upfront investment, so this method might not be ideal for beginners.

It also can't really be called 'dropshipping' anymore since you'll be working with your own inventory.

So, if a product doesn’t sell as expected, you might be left with unsold stock.

Still, if you're interested in trying this method, you can find our list of the best dropshipping agents here!

Method 2: Use Temu for product research only

If dealing with fulfillment centers or bulk orders doesn't feel right for you right now, there’s another way to use Temu: use it purely for product research.

Temu makes for an excellent tool for discovering high-potential products, even if you don’t use it as your supplier.

For instance, Temu often shows items that are currently in demand.

Look for:

  • Products with high ratings and lots of reviews.
  • Items that stand out due to unique features or design.
  • Products being promoted as "Best Sellers" or "5-Star Rated" on Temu:
Temu best sellers

These insights can give you a strong idea of what customers are buying right now.

Once you’ve identified a product with potential, the next step is to source it from a more dropshipping-friendly supplier, such as:

  • AliExpress. Known for its massive product catalog and Shopify integrations.
  • CJdropshipping. Offers faster shipping times and better support for dropshipping businesses.
  • Syncee. Focused on suppliers that can provide high-quality products and quicker delivery.

Search for the same or similar products on these platforms, and use them as your supplier instead of Temu.

You can check out our list of the 12 best dropshipping suppliers in 2025 here!

Remember that the reviews on Temu can still be a goldmine of information.

They can give you ideas about:

  • What customers love most about the product.
  • Any common complaints or issues you should address in your product descriptions.
  • Phrases and keywords customers use, which you can incorporate into your store’s marketing.

The advantage of this method is that it's much lower risk, and you have more supplier options.

However, it may cost extra research time or have slightly higher product costs, leading to lower margins.

Still, this method is ideal for anyone who wants to take advantage of Temu’s insights without the risks of using them directly as a supplier!

Summary

Before we go, we've created a quick summary of this article for you so you can easily remember it:

  • You can dropship from Temu, but it’s not officially supported, and you may face issues like branded packaging, slower shipping times, and potential account bans.
  • Many people are drawn to Temu for its low prices, wide product range, and potential to spot trending products early.
  • To import products from Temu to Shopify, you’ll need to do it manually or use third-party tools, as there are no direct integrations available.
  • Adding reviews from Temu to Shopify is possible with the WiseReviews Shopify app.
  • You can work around Temu’s challenges by using a dropshipping agent or 3PL to repackage and ship products with your branding or by using Temu for product research.

Conclusion

Dropshipping from Temu with Shopify is possible, but it’s not as straightforward as working with suppliers like AliExpress or CJdropshipping.

Temu simply lacks dropshipping-specific features and, therefore, comes with challenges like branded packaging, slow shipping, and limited support.

These all make it a tricky option to rely on.

That said, if you're willing to get creative, you can make Temu work for your Shopify store.

For instance, we talked about using a dropshipping agent or 3PL or about using it for product research.

Both options could work.
