Wondering where your Temu order ships from and how long it may take in your country?
Many Temu products still originate in China, but the package you receive may ship from China, a local warehouse, or a seller, depending on where you live and whether the item is stocked locally.
That is why two Temu products in the same cart can sometimes show different delivery dates.
Quick answer: Where does Temu ship from?
Many Temu products still originate from China, where Temu works with manufacturers and sellers to keep prices low.
But that does not always mean your package ships directly from China. In the United States, Temu has shifted heavily toward domestic fulfillment after the 2025 de minimis rule change. In Canada, the United Kingdom, Australia, Japan, New Zealand, Brazil, and several European markets, some products also ship from local warehouses or local sellers.
The safest way to check your own order is to look at the delivery estimate and any “Local” or “Local Warehouse” badge. You can also use the checker below for a quick estimate.
Use our Temu Shipping & Warehouse Checker below to estimate where your order is likely to ship from and how long delivery usually takes in your country:
Below, we'll break down where Temu ships from, how local warehouses work, and what delivery times usually look like in different regions.

Where does Temu ship from?
Temu still sources many products from China, but not every order ships directly from China anymore.
Temu works with a large network of manufacturers and suppliers in China. That is one of the main reasons prices on the platform can be so low.
China remains one of the world's largest manufacturing hubs, and many Temu sellers are based there.
But that is only one part of the shipping story.
Temu has also been expanding local warehouses and local fulfillment options in more countries.
So, depending on the item, your package may ship from a warehouse or seller closer to you.
Here's the simple version:
| Country/region | Typical shipping path | Local warehouse option? |
| United States | Mostly local fulfillment since May 2025, though many products may still originate from China before being stocked locally | Yes |
| United Kingdom | Often China, with some local warehouse items | Yes |
| Europe (select markets) | Often China, with local fulfillment expanding | Yes |
| Canada | Often China, with some local warehouse items | Yes |
| Australia | Often China, with some local warehouse items | Yes |
| Japan | Often China, with some local warehouse items | Yes |
| New Zealand | Often China, with some local warehouse items | Yes |
| Brazil | Often China, with local fulfillment still newer | Yes |
So, Temu now offers local-warehouse or local-fulfillment options in the United States, Canada, the United Kingdom, Australia, Japan, New Zealand, Brazil, and several European countries.
When a product is stocked locally, Temu usually marks it with a “Local” or “Local Warehouse” badge. That badge is the easiest way to spot items that should arrive faster:

For items without that badge, Temu may still rely on suppliers in China or nearby Asian countries.
The exact shipping time depends on your country and the item you order, so let's go region by region.
To the United States
The United States is the biggest exception to the old “Temu ships from China” answer.
If you are shopping on Temu from the US, your order is now much more likely to be fulfilled from within the US than it was before 2025.
Before Temu's 2025 US fulfillment shift, direct-from-China orders commonly showed standard delivery estimates of around 5 to 10 business days.
For older direct-from-China listings, Temu commonly showed delivery estimates like this:

For US-stocked items, the delivery estimate is usually much shorter.
Here's why that changed.
On May 2, 2025, the US ended the $800 “de minimis” exemption for shipments from China and Hong Kong. That means low-value parcels from China can no longer enter the country duty-free (White House fact sheet).
That was a big deal for Temu.
A bipartisan US House Select Committee investigation found that Temu and Shein together accounted for more than 30% of all packages shipped daily under the old de minimis rule, and likely close to half of all de minimis shipments from China.
House Select Committee on the CCP
In response, Temu said it would move US order fulfillment to domestic distributors and sellers with inventory already inside the US (Supply Chain Dive).
That means a US Temu order may still involve a product made by a Chinese manufacturer, but the package you receive may ship from inventory already stored in the United States.
You can see the size of the change in US customs data:
Since the rule took effect, US Customs and Border Protection has collected over $1 billion in duties on more than 246 million previously duty-free shipments (CBP).
The result?
A lot more of what you see in the US Temu app is now handled through locally based sellers, domestic distributors, or US-stocked inventory.
These US-stocked items are often sold by sellers who use a 3PL warehouse or their own US warehouses.
You can spot them by looking for the “Local” or “Local Warehouse” badge.
There is also a dedicated “Local Warehouse” catalog with items from different categories:

If you order from this catalog, your package can often arrive in 1 to 3 business days.
To Europe
In Europe, Temu still ships many orders from China, especially when the product is not stocked locally.
But local fulfillment is growing.
Temu now offers local warehouses and local fulfillment in several European markets, including Germany, France, Spain, Italy, the Netherlands, and Austria.
For local items, delivery can often take 1 to 8 business days.
In April 2025, Temu also signed a partnership with DHL Group to expand local-to-local fulfillment across Europe.
Temu has said it expects up to 80% of its European sales to eventually come from local-to-local merchants with local fulfillment, so local availability is likely to keep expanding (DHL press release).
For non-local items, shipping from China to Europe usually takes about 5 to 9 business days:

That can change depending on your country, the seller, the product, and any customs delays.
So if you are ordering from Europe, check the estimated delivery date and look for any “Local Warehouse” badges before assuming the item will ship from China.
To Canada
If you're shopping on Temu from Canada, many items still ship from China.
When that happens, delivery usually takes around 8 to 13 business days.
But Temu also has a “Local Warehouse” option for Canadian shoppers.
Some products are stored in Canadian warehouses and marked with a “Local” badge. Those items can arrive much faster, sometimes in 1 to 8 business days:

To Australia
If you're shopping on Temu from Australia, many products still ship from China.
Shipping from China to Australia usually takes about 8 to 13 business days.
Temu also has a “Local Warehouse” option in Australia. Items shipped from there typically arrive in 1 to 6 business days:

To the United Kingdom
For UK shoppers, many Temu products still ship from China.
Shipping from China to the UK usually takes around 5 to 9 business days.
Like in other regions, Temu also has local warehouse options in the UK. Eligible local items can arrive in as little as 2 to 6 business days:

Where does Temu offer local warehouse or local fulfillment options?
Temu now offers local warehouse or local fulfillment options in several countries.
The idea is simple: popular items are stored closer to customers, so they do not have to travel all the way from China after you place the order.
Right now, the main local fulfillment regions include:
- United States. Temu now relies heavily on US-based sellers, domestic distributors, and local inventory for faster fulfillment, with many local items showing delivery times of 1 to 3 business days.
- Canada. Some items are stored in Canadian warehouses, which can cut delivery times compared to international shipping from China.
- Australia. Temu offers a local warehouse option in Australia, with some items showing delivery times of 1 to 6 business days.
- Europe (select countries). Temu now has local warehouses and partners across markets like Germany, France, Spain, the Netherlands, Italy, and Austria, with a long-term push toward more local fulfillment.
- United Kingdom. Local UK warehouse options offer 2 to 6 business-day shipping for eligible items.
- Japan. Local items can show delivery times of 2 to 5 days.
- New Zealand. Local items can show delivery times of 3 to 7 business days.
- Brazil. Temu has been expanding local-to-local fulfillment in Brazil, including local seller participation and reported warehouse expansion. Availability is still newer than in the US or Europe, so check the delivery estimate and local badge before ordering.
If you see the “Local Warehouse” badge while browsing, that is your best clue that the order should arrive faster than a direct-from-China shipment.
Why does Temu still rely so much on China?
Even with more local warehouses, Temu still sources a large share of its catalog from China.
That is one of the reasons Temu can offer such low prices.
There are three main reasons for this.
First, China is one of the world's biggest manufacturing hubs. Many products on Temu are produced there at a lower cost than in other parts of the world.
Second, China has a very developed ecommerce logistics network. Many suppliers are already used to packing and shipping products for international customers.
Third, Temu's business model is built around a marketplace structure. Temu connects buyers with sellers, many of whom are based in China, instead of buying and holding every product itself.
But the balance is changing.
Since 2024, Temu has been rolling out a “semi-managed” model. In simple terms, that means sellers can ship inventory in bulk to local warehouses and fulfill customer orders from within the destination country.
That shift became more important after the US ended its $800 de minimis exemption in May 2025, because direct-from-China shipping became less attractive for low-value US orders.
So, Temu still relies heavily on sourcing from China and cross-border shipping in many markets.
But more orders are now moving through warehouses closer to customers, especially where local inventory is available.

How long does it take Temu to deliver?
Temu delivery times depend mostly on two things:
- Where you live
- Whether the item ships from China or from local inventory
Here's a general overview:
| Country/region | Shipping from China | Shipping from local warehouses |
| United States | Historically around 5-10 business days, but direct-from-China availability changed after May 2025 | Often 1-3 business days for local items, depending on the seller and warehouse location |
| Europe (select markets) | 5-9 business days | 1-8 business days |
| United Kingdom | 5-9 business days | 2-6 business days |
| Canada | 8-13 business days | 1-8 business days |
| Australia | 8-13 business days | 1-6 business days |
| Japan | 6-12 business days | 2-5 business days |
| New Zealand | 8-13 business days | 3-7 business days |
| Brazil | 15-30 business days | 2-8 business days |
Factors that can affect delivery time
The ranges above are estimates. Your actual delivery time can change because of:
- Customs and import rules. Customs checks can delay packages coming from China. Import rule changes, like the 2025 US de minimis update, can also affect cross-border shipping.
- Holidays. Shipping often slows during busy periods such as Christmas, Lunar New Year, or national holidays.
- Product availability. If the item is in high demand or temporarily out of stock, it may take longer to process and ship.
- Seller and warehouse location. Two products shipped from different sellers or warehouses can still arrive at different times.
Temu usually provides a delivery estimate before checkout, which is more useful than any general table.
You can also track your package on the Temu website or app after ordering:
