Are you looking for your competitors and you're wondering how to find other dropshipping stores?
Or maybe you're just curious what other dropshipping store owners are doing right now? Either way, it's great to know how to find them; that's why I'll give you 5 amazing tips to find other dropshipping stores in 2024!
Quick tip before we get started:
Most of these tips below will need some knowledge (If you're in the ecommerce space, then you're probably thinking about Tai Lopez now; KNOWLEDGE!) to differentiate a normal ecommerce and a dropshipping store. If you can't do that yet, then I suggest reading this article of mine here!
Why Should You Look at Other Dropshipping Stores?
One word? Inspiration!
This is great if you’re just starting, and you have no idea how your dropshipping store is supposed to look like.
You can learn a lot from other dropshipping stores out there. Like what they are selling, how their design looks like, how they are handling their social media profiles, and so on!
But do you know why you can learn a lot from looking at other dropshipping stores?
Just think about, would anyone still advertise their store, that’s been up for a while if they are not profitable?
Exactly… No!
Do you want a quick tip to figure out how to see if a dropshipping store is open for a while? Go check their social media pages like Facebook, and see when they posted for the first time!
However, keep in mind that this is to get inspiration and to learn more. Don't just copy everything you see.
Otherwise, you can never differentiate yourself from your dropshipping competitors!
Your goal is to be unique and better than other dropshipping stores out there. Don't settle with a "just okay" store. You can do better, I'm sure!
If you're interested now in learning more about how to beat your dropshipping competition, then I suggest reading 7 Tips to Beat the Competition of Your Dropshipping Store in 2024!
The great thing is that you combine these two articles.
You can find a lot of dropshipping stores, and then you can look at how to beat them. This way, your store will hopefully not look like all the other dropshipping stores out there!
Awesome, right?
So, How to Find Other Dropshipping Stores? Let's Find Out!
Curious now on how to find other dropshipping stores?
Awesome, but wait one moment, before I start giving you my tips, I want to let you know that I also created a list with dropshipping stores for inspiration. You can find that list here!
Alright, so below you will find my 5 tips to find a lot (with a lot I mean A LOT) of dropshipping stores!
1. Using Myip.ms
The first great tip for finding other dropshipping stores out there is to use Myip.ms.
Most of you that are reading this article probably know this one already, so if you do, then please scroll down! Because I'm sure some don't know about Myip yet.
You can find a lot of websites on Myip.ms, but do you know the best part? You can select Shopify as a host!
Now it will only show you Shopify stores, which you can then sort on those with the most traffic. For example, here are the most popular Shopify stores at this moment:
Now the great part is that you can fill in a part of a website name as a keyword. For example, you can type a keyword like this:
- Pets (dog, cat and so on) or any other niche
- Deal
- Free
- Shop
Let's find a dropshipping store with Myip.ms
Here is an example with "dog":
Just keep in mind that the first stores (with the most traffic) are probably not dropshipping stores. There is a higher chance that they are just normal Shopify store!
But for some keywords, that's not true. So I definitely suggest checking them.
I did that with the "dog" keyword, and look what I found on the first page on rank number two:
You might be thinking now, "Huh, but how do you know that that Shopify store is dropshipping?"
Well, I'll guide you through it!
I used one of the steps of my differentiate a normal Shopify store and dropshipping store (more on that below) to see that this store is probably dropshipping!
Just to note, I didn't need to use all the steps for this Shopify store. It was pretty easy to find out that they are dropshipping with just a few steps.
First off, is checking their Shipping Policy.
Does it take more than 2 weeks to get delivered? Then that’s a big indicator that that store is dropshipping.
This is theirs:
Next up is checking if they got something regarding the customs charges on their Shipping Policy or FAQ page.
If they do, and they say that you need to pay for that, then that’s a great indicator that they are dropshipping. And most likely that they are dropshipping from China.
Just see for your self what they got:
So we got two correct already. Let's do one more just for fun, but at this point, I'm already 95% sure that they are dropshipping.
I'll do a reverse image search of one of their product images:
In the search results, I found around 3 Shopify stores (which look like dropshipping stores as well, haha) selling the same product with the exact same product image.
So now we got three steps saying that they are dropshipping. I'll leave it with that because I'm 99% sure now that they are dropshipping!
But if you want to learn the other things that you can check as well, then I highly suggest you read my other article:

2. Using Google
The next tip that I got for you to find other dropshipping stores is to use Google.
But how?
Well, I got two awesome ways for you:
You could either do a reverse image lookup on Google for one of the product images of a product of yours or a product that you found while doing product research.
It will be the same as I did in my first tip with the dog store:
You will find other websites, mainly stores if it's a product image, selling the same product with the same product image!
And the other way that you can find dropshipping stores on Google is to enter the name of that product (or niche) plus something like myshopify or Shopify at the end.
For example:
Awesome, right?
3. Using a Product Research Tool
The third tip is going to be a good one as well.
You can use product research tools.
Product research tools? Aren't they for doing product research?
Yes, but some of these product research tools have more tools available for you. Like a Shopify store explorer. Which helps you find other Shopify stores.
But do you know the best thing about the two product research tools that I'll cover below? You can sort their Shopify store explorers to only show dropshipping stores!
How awesome is that?
1. Sell The Trend
The first product research tool that got this tool is called Sell The Trend.
Here you can find an example of their Shopify store explorer with the "Dropshipping Stores" filter on:
However, Sell The Trend does much more, just take a look at this image:

2. Niche Scraper
And the second product research tool that has this feature is called Niche Scraper.
Here is an example of their Store Analysis with the "Verified Dropshipping" filter on:
Of course, they got much more than just that, because their main focus is helping you find your next winning product:
The great thing about Niche Scraper is that they got a free account option available for you:

4. Using Product Research Methods
Another great way to find other dropshipping stores is by looking closely while doing your product research.
For example, if you're doing product research, and you found a store that is selling that product, then that could be a dropshipping store as well!
Don't forget to use my tip that I gave you at the beginning; about how to find out if an online store is dropshipping or not.
If you're not sure yet how to do product research for your dropshipping store, then you're in luck! I collected the 15 most used product research methods for you.
The best part? Most won't cost you any money!
You can find them here:

5. Using Facebook
Facebook is a great way to do product research, but also a great way to find other dropshipping stores!
Do you know why?
Because if you find a product that you could sell on Facebook, then there is a high chance that you found that product because someone else is currently advertising it on Facebook! For example:
And what do you think happens when you click on a product URL link in one of these dropshipping store ads?
You will be taken to a dropshipping store!
If you're interested in learning how to find products on Facebook (and with these products, you will find dropshipping stores!), then I suggest reading the article I linked to below:
