This way, you will find products on AliExpress that you never expected to find in the first place. Or maybe you never expected to exist in the first place!
1. AliExpress recommendations for you
The first method is very simple but one of the most effective.
AliExpress gives you some amazing recommendations if you know where to look for them.
To see the recommendations, go to any product page within AliExpress, such as this one:

If you scroll down the page, you can see a section called 'You may also like.'

These are products that AliExpress recommends after viewing the initial product, and you can see some interesting product opportunities.
In the product description, there is also a section called 'Related items', which is also good to look for.

Later in this article, we'll explain how to utilize the 'Related items' section.
2. Seller recommendations & more to love
On AliExpress product page, there is a section called 'Recommended from AliExpress store.'
There, you will find recommendations from the AliExpress seller:

Below that, you will find 'Top selling from AliExpress Store':

These are the top-selling products of a specific AliExpress store, and they can be great inspirations too.
3. People also searched section
Next is scrolling all the way down, where you can see a section called 'People also searched.'
As the name says, this basically shows what other people also searched for within AliExpress.

If you want to look for more niche products related to the current product you're searching for, you can use these search terms!
2. AliExpress best-seller products
To find best-seller products within AliExpress, head to the home page and click on the 'All Categories' tab.

From here, pick a category you're interested in.
Ideally, it's a category your store is in.
For example, if you have a store in the 'Pet Supplies' niche, click on that.
This gets you to a dedicated page, where you can see a section that shows all the top-selling products under that category.

From the same page, you can also pick one of the sub-categories if you want more specific search results.

We clicked on 'Apparel' and filtered the results by 'Orders,' and we got all the top-selling apparel products for pets.

If you had a store in the pet niche and wanted to sell apparel, some of these could be good product opportunities.
Replicate the same method for your own niche to find amazing products!
3. Using the Rabbit Hole tactic
Yes, this is exactly what it sounds like.
The goal with the Rabbit Hole method is to click through AliExpress products and find products you never expected to find!
To show you how this works, let's go through an example.
First, we have to go to any product page on AliExpress that looks interesting, such as this one:

If you scroll down the product page, you will see this section called 'Related Items:'

This section shows you products related to the original product.
If you go down the 'rabbit hole' of clicking on the related items and finding new product opportunities that way, you can come across some interesting products.
For example, we clicked on these related items multiple times, and we found this product:

It's a gemstone necklace, and looking into Google Trends data, it could potentially be a product that is trending and selling well currently.

If you do this for multiple products, you can find some unique opportunities you couldn't have come across otherwise!
4. AliExpress Dropshipping Center

The next way to find winning products is through the AliExpress Dropshipping Center.
If you don't know what it is, it's a tool that AliExpress made to make dropshipping with AliExpress easier.
Even though it's made dropshipping, any store owner can use it for winning product research purposes.
And the best part is that it's free to use!
Let's go through how it works.
To start the process, type in any product name in the 'Find products to sell' section inside the AliExpress Dropshipping Center.

Once you do this, plenty of product options will pop up:

To see the best-selling products, you can sort the results by 'Sales.'

This will show you the products that are selling well right now.
To get more specific results, you can use one of the available filters, such as 'Ship from' or the minimum and maximum price.

If you want to further analyze a product and similar products to the original product, click on the 'Go to analyze' button.

This will get you to a separate page, where you can see data, such as the total number of orders, logistics performance, price, and whether the product has free shipping or not.

As you can see from the above image, the tool shows data for similar products as well, which can give you many good winning product ideas.
Other than the above method, the AliExpress Dropshipping Center also has many categories you can scroll through.
If you go to its home page, you can see sections such as 'Winning products' and 'Fast delivery.'

For example, if you click on the 'Winning products' category, you see some of the best-selling products under every AliExpress category.

This is great, especially if you don't know the niche you want to sell in yet.
From the dropshipping center home page, you can also scroll the products by different categories.

If you click on one of the categories, such as 'Beauty & Health", you can scroll through the available products in more detail.

You can also choose from one of the sub-categories.

This one is a small one, but it's a funny one.
Mordechai (CEO of Ecomhunt) tells in an interview with Oberlo that he scrolls for hours on AliExpress until the algorithm is messed up, and then it will show him products that he never searched for before.

7. Asking AliExpress dropshipping suppliers

With this method, you find AliExpress dropshipping suppliers and ask them what products are going to be trending or what products are new or will be launching soon!

The first step in doing this is to find the supplier you're going to ask.
Preferably, the supplier should be in the niche you're selling in.
For example, if you're selling garden products, ask from a supplier within that niche.
To contact a supplier, head to an AliExpress product page and click on the supplier name.

Once you're on the supplier store page, you will see this 'Contact Now' button:

This is where you can go ahead and actually message the supplier.

Basically, you can ask them for a list of their new products that they are about to release into the market. Their new trending products!
Or you can ask them to provide you with a list of their current trending products.
There is also no cost to this method, which is the best part.
8. Look outside of AliExpress
To find winning products from AliExpress, one of the best things you can do is to look outside of it.
For example, Facebook is a good source of product ideas.
Just by scrolling through the Facebook feed, you can come across some interesting brands and products.

You can then copy the product name to AliExpress and see if it's available there.

Spying through successful Shopify stores can give you insights into what products are working, and you can then search for them in AliExpress.
To do this, you can use Myip.ms, which is a free tool that shows you the top Shopify stores.

To filter out Shopify stores from Myip.ms, you have to type in 23.227. 38.32, which is the official IP address of Shopify's website.

After this, you have to scroll down the page to the section 'Known Websites on IP' and click on 'View All Records.'

From here, you can see a full list of the biggest Shopify stores.
Once you know these stores, you can use different Shopify spy tools to find out what the best-selling products of these websites are.
You can then look up these products in AliExpress!

You have to know what to look for. To help you, let's go through some of the factors that should play a key role when selecting your next product.
