Are you dropshipping with AliExpress and wondering if there are any alternatives available?
Or are you researching dropshipping and you haven’t started yet, but you’re not sure if dropshipping with AliExpress is right for you?
Then this article will be great for you! Below I will give you a lot of alternatives to dropshipping with AliExpress in 2022!
How to choose the right AliExpress alternative
Please check these things below before you decide to dropship from another platform:
Check their suppliers and products. Just as you would do with AliExpress, check that their suppliers are reliable and that their products are of good quality. Don’t forget to message the suppliers to check how fast they reply and how good their English is.
Check if they offer a secure payment method. Most websites provide third-party payment services, like PayPal. These payment gateways are safe to use. Check if your AliExpress alternate provides the same.
Check how you can connect your (Shopify) dropshipping store. Most platforms got a Shopify app if you use Shopify, and if they don’t offer an app, you could use Importify. They let you connect your Shopify store to a lot of dropshipping platforms. If you don’t use Shopify, make sure you can connect your store to their platform! (You can see more DSers alternatives here)
Check their costs. Some dropshipping platforms ask for a monthly fee, and some are free to use (or provide both free and paid plans). If you don’t want any extra monthly costs, as you got with AliExpress, you should definitely check this!
Know which countries you’re going to target. Before you start searching, know which countries you want to target. You don’t need to set it in stone, but this can help you with your search. For example, Spocket is mainly focused on the US & Europe. If you already know that you won’t target these countries, it’s better to pick a different AliExpress alternative.
If you’re unsure about which country to target, you can take a look at the 15 Best & Worst Countries to Target as a Dropshipper.
How to connect an AliExpress alternative to a Shopify store
Some of these alternatives below have a Shopify app available for you. You only have to download that app to connect your Shopify store to the alternative.
But a lot of these websites are just like AliExpress; they don’t offer any connection to a Shopify store on their own.
So, how do you connect these alternatives to your Shopify store then?
Well, you can use one of the following Shopify apps:
To help you make a choice, I will quickly discuss these options now.
ApiDrop helps you connect your online store to suppliers like BigBuy and Banggood:
Their pricing currently starts at $29 per month, but they do have a free plan for you available, which you can use with up to 10 products. (This means that if you sell 10 or fewer products on your store, ApiDrop is free to use!)
You can click here to see the full list of the suppliers they support. Unlike the dropshipping suppliers I mention in this article, this app isn’t free. They do offer a free trial, but their basic plan starts at $14.95 per month. (More information about their pricing here)
As you can see, I focused on showing you how to connect different dropshipping suppliers to a Shopify store because Shopify is the most frequently used ecommerce platform.
But if you don’t want to use Shopify, or if you’re just curious to see what else is out there, then check out these 14 Shopify alternatives here.
If you don’t have a Shopify store yet, sign up by clicking this link to get a free 3-day trial + pay $1/month for the first 3 months.
Before I get started with the list of all the AliExpress alternatives in 2022
Before I get started with the alternatives with each AliExpress alternative, I will:
- Give you a link to that website. You can either click that link or click on the screenshot of their homepage to go to their website.
- Tell you what is unique about that site. What makes it different from AliExpress.
- Show you the current price and if they have any trials available. So you know what to expect with extra monthly costs.
Are you ready now to see some alternatives to dropshipping with AliExpress?
If so, let’s go!
1. Dropshipping with Spocket
Around 80% of their suppliers are from these countries!
This means that you will get much lower shipping times than if you would have started with dropshipping from China.
I suggest reading my other article here if you want to learn more about Spocket and how to use it to upgrade your dropshipping store! Or you can read this article here that lists all the benefits of dropshipping from the USA.
What is the price of Spocket and do they offer a trial?
The current price of Spocket is ranging between $25 and $99 per month:
Also, it will be cheaper if you pay yearly. You will get up to 8 months free.
2. Dropshipping with SaleHoo
The next AliExpress alternative is SaleHoo.
I personally have never used SaleHoo. So, I will let them explain themselves!
With over 8,000 wholesalers, drop shippers, manufacturers and liquidators, SaleHoo offers a comprehensive directory for sourcing fantastic items to resell for great profits!
SaleHoo stands out from other product sourcing directories by verifying each and every one of their suppliers they feature in their directory. Before a supplier can grace the SaleHoo directory, they must be vetted by SaleHoo vigorous standards. From SaleHoo
Basically, it’s a big directory with a lot of dropshippers, but also wholesales, manufacturers, and liquidators.
You can easily search through their categories to find the product that you want to sell.
The only thing is that you will need to ask the supplier how to manage the orders; sometimes it’s through manual orders, and sometimes the supplier has an integration with an ecommerce platform like Shopify where you can directly sync the orders and inventory with the supplier.
What is the price of SaleHoo and do they offer a trial?
The current price of SaleHoo is either $67 per year or $127 for lifetime access.
SaleHoo currently offers a 7-day trial for only $1. You can click here to learn more about that.
Plus, they offer you a 100% Satisfaction Guarantee. This way, you can purchase and try it, and if you don’t like it, then you can ask them for a refund!
3. Dropshipping with uDroppy
uDroppy is a platform designed to support all ecommerce businesses. They take care of sourcing, fulfilling, and the shipment of your products. All you have to do after signing up for uDroppy is to take care of the marketing!
I’ll start by quoting the mission of uDroppy for you below:
The mission of uDroppy is to make ecommerce accessible and easy for everyone, everywhere.
We do that by delivering one single platform that automates all the activities from sourcing to fulfillment.
If you’re interested to learn more about their mission, I highly suggest you watch their short video below:
This means that all the products you will find on their platform are not provided by AliExpress sellers, but will arrive directly from the factory. They work with more than 900 factories providing you with thousands of products to choose from.
Plus, if you can’t find the product that you want to sell on your dropshipping store, you can simply request it!
You can easily integrate your Shopify dropshipping store with uDroppy, which works the same as any other dropshipping app like DSers — with a one-click order fulfillment for all your orders.
Here’s an example:
Once you fulfilled the orders, they will take care of the shipping. And guess what? They can ship to every country in 4-15 days!
That’s a lot better than the 2-4 weeks from AliExpress, right?
I’ll mention one more great thing about uDroppy, and that is that they have E-Com Managers available.
You might be thinking now: “What’s an E-Com Manager?”
Well, an E-Com Manager is a highly trained professional with an ecommerce background with skills which will help you grow your business thanks to consulting, recommendations, and tailored solutions for you.
It will feel like they are part of your team because they will always have your back!
You will get access to an E-Com Manager once you subscribe to the Pro or Platinum plan. (More about that below.)
Some other benefits of their paid plans are getting access to their virtual warehouses and white labeling products!
What is the price of uDroppy and do they offer a trial?
The current price of uDroppy ranges from $0 to $149 per month:
And, like most things in life, it’s cheaper for you if you decide to pay yearly instead of monthly.
4. Dropshipping with Zendrop (The Silkroad)
This is the so-called “Dropshipping with AliExpress killer”. It’s called Zendrop (previously called “Silkroad”).
For now, the only option to connect to Zendrop is to have a Shopify store! The importing of products almost works the same as with the DSers app.
Here are some things you should know already:
- Standard shipping takes 8-15 days and costs you $2 for the USA and $3.50 for international.
- Express shipping to the USA takes 5-7 days and costs you $3.50. You will need to have a premium plan if you want to do express shipping.
- With the free plan, you will get 50 orders per month for free.
- Autofills orders. This one is great. If you’re on a premium plan, you can autofill your orders. You don’t need to click once. It will all happen automatically!
- Branded invoicing. This is a big one as well, but only for premium plan members. This is how they explain it: “When branded invoicing is turned on, every product that our suppliers ship out for you will have your store name, address, and logo to provide a more professional unboxing experience.”
- Request a product. They are adding so many products right now with that fast delivery time, but if you can’t find your product, you can submit it to them. Simply add the link of the product that you want and press request!
When I first started writing this article, Zendrop was looking really great, but now it looks like it’s getting hyped up so much. Every big dropshipping YouTube guru is talking about it.
I personally suggest waiting a bit to see if they hold onto their promises or not because there are a lot of negative comments about Zendrop on these dropshipping gurus videos.
But if you want to try it, don’t forget that they have a free account available.
What is the price of Zendrop (The Silkroad) and do they offer a trial?
The current price of Zendrop is either free or $49. Or you can go for the Plus plan where you need to contact them.
If you only want Zendrop, it’s either free (for up to 50 orders per month) or it’s $49 per month for unlimited orders and a lot of extra features, like I talked about above.
Also, it will be cheaper if you pay yearly.
5. Dropshipping with Modalyst
Most dropshippers use it if they want to dropship fashion products. For example:
Here are some of their main features:
The great thing about Modalyst is that you can use it for free if you don’t want more than 25 products. (More on that below.)
If you’re interested in learning more about Modalyst, then I suggest reading this review by A Better Lemonade Stand.
What is the price of Modalyst and do they offer a trial?
The current price of Modalyst is either $0, $35, or $90 per month.
If you want, you can also pay yearly to save up to 25%.
So yes, they’ve got a trial available! You can use it for free. The only thing then is that you will have a 25 product limit.
You can click here to see their current pricing and all their features.
6. Dropshipping with CJdropshipping
The next AliExpress alternative on this list is CJdropshipping.
CJdropshipping is an all-in-one solution that will help you source and ship your dropshipping products.
They offer a wide range of products and multiple cool features for dropshippers!
The great thing is that they have many warehouses. Currently, they have warehouses in 26 different countries, which can really help you ship your products faster and cut down your shipping fees.
What is the price of CJdropshipping and do they offer a trial?
To use CJdropshipping, you won’t have to pay a monthly fee and will be able to use the following payment methods to buy products:
- Credit or Debit cards
- Wire Transfer
7. Dropshipping with Wholesale2b
Wholesale2b is an all-in-one dropship solution. They offer features like order automation, inventory automation, and order tracking.
If you’re interested in Wholesale2b, you can create a free account to browse their catalog of over 1 million(!) products. From automotive accessories to fragrances to baby products -pretty much all niches are available within Wholesale2b.
After picking a product with a promising profit margin, you can quickly push it into your Shopify store using Wholesale2b’s Shopify app.
What is the price of Wholesale2b and do they offer a trial?
Although the pricing can depend based on which platform you are selling your products on, here are the monthly membership fees for Shopify, BigCommerce, and WooCommerce:
As you can see, the monthly membership fee is $29.99 per month for all three of these ecommerce platforms. This will give you access to push 10,000 products to your store.
I guess that’s more than enough for you, right?
Furthermore, you can get a 7-day free trial when signing up for a monthly plan.
8. Dropshipping with Doba
Another option is to start dropshipping with Doba.
I suggest clicking here to go to the part of their website where they explain dropshipping with Doba.
You can see if it’s a fit for you or not. Don’t forget to check the prices of the products you want to sell. Maybe you can find them cheaper here!
If you do find them cheaper here, don’t forget about testing their dropshipping suppliers!
What is the price of Doba and do they offer a trial?
You can start setting up your dropshipping store with Doba for free. However, you will have to start paying at least $50 per month for their paid plan soon after:
Luckily, they do offer a 30-day free trial!
9. Dropshipping with Worldwide Brands
Next up is the Worldwide Brands. This is one of the first wholesale and dropshipping supplier directories. They have been in business since 1999!
This directory works the same as SaleHoo; you will have direct contact with the suppliers. They don’t offer a connection themself as DSers does with AliExpress.
Their members contact and work directly with the suppliers of their choosing. Many of the suppliers do provide datafeeds.
What is the price of Worldwide Brands and do they offer a trial?
Currently, Worldwide Brands is $299 for lifetime access. They currently don’t provide a trial, but they do offer a refund if you’re not completely satisfied:
As you can see with the price, this AliExpress alternative isn’t for you if you have a tight budget. You can read more about dropshipping startup costs here.
10. Dropshipping with DHgate
The next dropshipping with AliExpress alternatives are going to be websites just like AliExpress. They are all unique, so I suggest checking them all out and comparing prices, shipping costs, and so on. I hope this will open your eyes to the fact that there are so many websites out there just like AliExpress!
Also, they are, as far as I know, all free to use! So I will remove the section of what is the price with the next alternatives!
Don’t forget that you will need a Shopify app (like I talked about at the beginning) to connect your Shopify dropshipping store to these websites. Just like DSers did with AliExpress.
Let’s start with DHgate. There is a big chance that you have seen this website before!
Just like with AliExpress, they’ve got a lot of different products. It’s great to compare prices. You might find something that is cheaper on DHgate than AliExpress, but it could also be the other way around!
11. Dropshipping with Syncee
Syncee is a platform that helps dropshippers find some amazing suppliers!
In the Syncee Marketplace, you can browse through and find millions of products and reliable dropshipping suppliers.
