DHgate Seller Checker
Found something on DHgate, but you're not sure how much you can trust
the seller behind it?
This checker gives you a quick first read before you place an order.
It looks at the seller's feedback and transaction history, then checks
the product type and the reviews you're seeing.
Answer four questions one by one. At the end, you'll see whether the
seller looks lower risk, needs more caution, or comes with stronger
warning signs.
How to use your risk result
Start with the risk level, then look at what caused it.
A lower-risk result means the seller passed more of the checks we use
for a first screen. It doesn't mean you should place a large order
straight away.
If the result lands in the middle, look closely at the weaker signals.
A seller with plenty of transactions might still have poor recent
reviews, for example.
And if the seller comes out higher risk, that's a good reason to compare
other options before spending money.
What goes into the check
The checker starts with the seller's positive feedback score and
transaction history.
Those numbers give you some context, but they aren't enough on their own.
That's why the product you're buying matters too.
Some products come with more risk than others, especially when quality
or authenticity is harder to judge from a listing.
Then we look at the reviews. Detailed comments and buyer photos can tell
you much more than a star rating by itself.
What this checker can't tell you
A good result doesn't guarantee that your order will arrive on time or
match the quality you expected.
Sellers can change over time too. So check the latest feedback, recent
photo reviews, service scores, and delivery estimate before you order.
Be careful with star ratings in particular. DHgate can assign a default
five-star rating when a buyer leaves no feedback, so a high average
doesn't always tell you much by itself.
If the seller still looks promising, start small when practical. That
gives you a chance to check the product and delivery before committing
more money.
Want to check the seller in more detail?
The checker gives you the quick version. Our
full DHgate seller guide
shows you what to look for in reviews and store service scores. It also
covers the product categories where we'd be more careful with a new or
unproven seller.
If the seller still looks worth considering, these tools can help you
check the product and decide what to do next.
